Tracing experiment for syscall duration histograms across a local service under load.
Question
Can syscall histograms explain p99 request latency without adding application-level tracing?
Plan
Attach probes to read, write, epoll, futex, and network-related tracepoints. Compare histograms with application latency under controlled load.
Constraints
The probe must avoid per-event logging on hot paths and should emit aggregated histograms.
